There have been some great moments over the years in NXT. Pretty much every new superstar for the past 5 years or so have come through NXT at some point or another. The latest Takeover event is the 25th event, which is hard to believe, and as usual has a stream lined card filled with the cream of the crop. As usual I will talk about the matches in no particular order.

1. Matt Riddle Vs. Roderick Strong: This is the match with the least at stake but, could be one of the best matches of the night. Matt Riddle has made a sizeable impact upon arrival in NXT and really has the potential to be the top star of the brand. Roderick Strong has been lost in the shuffle a little bit but, with the resurgence of The Undisputed Era recently he could be part of the top stable in NXT. This will be a hard hitting match from start to finish with a lot of amateur wrestling. There are numerous factors at play in this match, with the recent difficulties in The Undisputed Era being pushed aside there could be interference that costs Riddle the match. That being said there could be a little resentment still bubbling under that could cause miscommunication between The Era and Strong that could cost him the match. I think the latter will be the outcome, Riddle for the win.

2. NXT North American Championship: The Velveteen Dream (C) Vs. Tyler Breeze: There was never a return to NXT that made more sense than the one of Tyler Breeze. Prince Pretty has made a little impact on the main roster but, in NXT he was a very different superstar and was one of the top stars. Breeze has a lot of potential and could prove to be a great addition to the NXT main event scene. The Velveteen Dream has gone from strength to strength in the past year or so but, has been missing from NXT television as of late but, when he has the spot light on him The Dream has proven himself to be everything he says he is. This match could be the match that everyone talks about once the event is over and could prove to be match of the year candidate. There will be a lot of old school pomp and character work in this match but, some great athleticism. I can't see The Velveteen Dream losing the North American Championship any time soon but, I would love to see where this story goes.

3. NXT Women's Championship: Shayna Baszler (C) Vs. Io Shirai: Shayna Baszler has been at the top of the women's division for a long while which proves how great she is a the NXT women's division is such a high calibre at this moment. Io Shirai continues to prove why she was a great addition to the NXT women's division. Baszler has been flanked by Duke and Shafir and these two may prove to be the deciding factor in this match. This will be a hard hitting match full of strikes and submissions. Whilst I think that Baszler has been a great figurehead for the division I think that Shirai's time has come to win her first championship in WWE.

4. NXT Tag Team Championship Ladder Match: The Undisputed Era Vs. The Street Profits Vs. The Forgotten Sons Vs. Oney Lorcan And Danny Burch: With the Viking Raiders relinquishing the tag team championship a few weeks ago this opened the door for one of the many great teams in NXT at this moment. The Undisputed Era are a proven entity and them winning the tag team championships could prove part of their promise of 2019 being their year. The Street Profits are criminally under utilised, entertaining to watch and are incredibly gifted in the ring and I would be happy enough for them to be champions. Oney Lorcan and Danny Burch haven't really teamed an awful lot in the past few months and I feel they don't make sense as champions. The Forgotten Sons are a team that are being overlooked but, could prove to be the real dark horse team in this match. This should be a brutal match with a lot of great spots. I have a funny feeling the Undisputed Era may come out on top.

5. NXT Championship: Johnny Gargano (C) Vs. Adam Cole: Gargano finally fulfilled his prophecy of becoming the only triple crown winner in NXT history and he has gone from one great rivalry to another with Adam Cole. The build for this match has been great, really highlighting the frustration with Cole not being champion and Gargano taking it easy since winning the championship.  This should be a great back and forth between the two top talents in not only NXT but, WWE in general. This is really match of the year candidate material and should really be the match of the night. The Undisputed Era will more than likely be the deciding factor in this match with Roderick Strong more than likely costing Adam Cole the match. Gargano to win the match.
