Welcome one and all to my preview and predictions blog for the upcoming WWE live special, Hell In A Cell. As of writing there are only 3 matches announced for the event but, I will update the article as other matches are announced.
I have another weekly blog article called The 52 In 52, which is a film blog that reviews a film I've never seen before each week. I am coming up to the last 12 weeks and I have posted a rundown of all of the films I've reviewed this year so far. You can check it out HERE.
As always if you have any comments of feedback about this or any other post leave a comment in the section below or by following me on Twitter and Instagram.
It's been another crazy and exciting time for all pro wrestling fans, from the revamp that WWE TV programming seems to be having to another new competitor entering the weekly TV show. WWE seems to be heading in the right direction with Paul Heyman and Eric Bischoff put in charge of RAW and Smackdown. As always I will be talking about the matches in no particular order.
1.Roman Reigns And Daniel Bryan Vs. Erick Rowan And Luke Harper: The unfolding story line involving Erick Rowan, Daniel Bryan and Roman Reigns has been a bizarre one to say the least but, I must admit it has been entertaining enough and has been a good way of keeping both Reigns and Bryan in the spotlight when they're not in the championship picture. The addition of the returning, and slightly bitter, Luke Harper has been a great addition as it has made Harper and Rowan's attacks feel more realistic. This match should be a great, physical match with a lot of hard hitting action. Daniel Bryan is the real X factor in this match, I have been a fan of heel Daniel Bryan and it would be a shame to see the character become a good guy again. I think this may lead to a feud between Bryan and Reigns leading into Survivor Series. Rowan and Harper for the win.
2. RAW Women's Championship Hell In A Cell: Becky Lynch (C) Vs. Sasha Banks: This feud has been a fantastic example of how far the women's division has really come. Becky Lynch continues to transcend both the women's division and the WWE and she has proven how good she really is and how she deserves the attention she has gotten. Sasha Banks returned with a lot of fan fare and with a brand new attitude and it seems to be working. I have to admit she was really lost in the shuffle before she took time off but, she has rocketed to the top in almost record time. This will be a great match and I love that this is taking place inside the cell. This will be a great back and forth, filled with tension and high drama. Bayley will no doubt be a deciding factor in this match but, I can't see Lynch losing her championship before The Royal Rumble.
3. WWE Universal Championship: Seth Rollins (C) Vs. The Fiend Bray Wyatt: To say The Fiend is my favourite part of WWE TV since his first appearance is an understatement. This match seems a little trigger happy to say the least. I honestly felt that The Fiend would work his way through the roster before finally getting a shot at The Universal Championship. Seth Rollins has really taken on the role of locker room leader but, I feel like he has lost a little bit of his edge since becoming a good guy. This will, hopefully be the match I have been building in my mind and really be a great showing for both competitors. I can't see Rollins losing the championship so soon but, I feel if The Fiend loses so soon it will affect his character going forward. The Fiend may be heading back to the Firefly Funhouse with the Universal Championship in hand.
