If you've been living under a rock for the past few years there has been something of a revolution when it comes to women's wrestling, not just in the WWE but, in the industry as a whole. Evolution marks the very first women's only live special in WWE history and whilst a lot of companies have been doing similar things for a while it is a huge achievement for not only the WWE but, the women competitors in the company. As always I will write about the matches in no particular order.
NOTE: Edits are in red. These have been made after the initial article was written.

1. Sasha Banks, Bayley And Natalya Vs. The Riott Squad: This match was announced on this weeks episode and I'm actually shocked it took so long to be announced. The Riott Squad was a team that at first I felt was thrown together with call ups from NXT but, has really meshed and proven how good each of the members are. Banks, Bayley and Natalya really have been at the forefront of the women's division for some time and continue to be the top stars on RAW. This should be a great match that can further showcase the up and coming team and how good Ruby Riott is and how she hasn't been a champion yet as a real travesty. Look for The Riott Squad to come out on top.

2. Trish Stratus And Lita Vs. Mickie James And Alicia Fox (With Alexa Bliss): This match was originally supposed to be two separate singles matches but, I think due to Alexa Bliss just returning from injury and neither Stratus or Lita having significant ring time in the past five or six years a tag match would be of benefit for all. This has been built incredibly well over the past few weeks and I'm intrigued to see what happens in this match. There should be some great nostalgic moments from both Stratus and Lita but, I think the heel team of Bliss and James will come out with the win. Bliss has been forced to the side lines with a concussion which is a shame but, never the less I think Fox and James will come out on top with the help of Alexa.

3. Mae Young Classic Final: Io Shirai Vs. Toni Storm: This years Mae Young Classic has been a great example of some of the talent on offer around the world. Io Shirai has been one of the most anticipated talents to arrive in NXT since Asuka and the same goes goes for Toni Storm. This match will be a great example of why the WWE really has acquired some of the top female talent in the world to really bulk up their ranks. This should be a hard hitting affair with some fast paced action. I'm not really sure how this one will go but, if I had to choose a favourite it would be Toni Storm.

4. Last Woman Standing Smackdown Live Women's Championship: Becky Lynch (C) Vs. Charlotte Flair: Of the two main roster championship matches this will be the more entertaining, will it be the main event ? no probably not because Ronda Rousey Vs. Nikki Bella will be for some strange reason. This has been a brilliant story up until now and these two will prove once again how far women's wrestling has really come in such a short space of time. The very first last women standing match is the spectacle this match deserves and promises some of the most brutal matches in recent memory. I can't really pick a winner between the two but, if I had to I would love to see Becky Lynch come out with the win.

5. Women's Battle Royal: This is really a great way of bringing in and using all the competitors that aren't booked in matches. There are some interesting names announced for this match so far. Asuka, Naomi, The Iconics, Carmella, Ember Moon and Nia Jax are the real favourites from the current crop of talent but, names like Alundra Blayze, Torrie Wilson or Ivory might prove to be the dark horse in this match. There are still names to be announced for this match and as much as I would love to see an old favourite come out with the win I think someone like Nia Jax or Asuka will come out with the win and a much needed profile boost.

6. NXT Women's Championship: Kairi Sane (C) Vs. Shayna Baszler: This is the fourth match between the top two competitors in NXT. This has been a little underwhelming in build up and has been over shadowed by the Aleister Black mystery. That's not to say that this won't be a great match that will more than over shadow the "main event". Kairi Sane has been under utilised as champion which is a shame as she has shown some incredible talent. Baszler has done amazingly well really showcasing a different side to women's wrestling. I think that Baszler will regain the championship with a little help from her fellow four horse women team mates who are making their way through the NXT ranks.

7. Raw Women's Championship: Ronda Rousey (C) Vs. Nikki Bella: This is the main event that has baffled me a lot. Nikki Bella has been a big name and a big reason for the women's evolution and revolution however, she really hasn't been around for the better part of a year and somehow she has made it into the main event of arguably the biggest show of the year. Ronda Rousey is getting better with every match she has and her mic skills seem to be getting a little better, not great but, better than some. This should be a mediocre match that will do nothing for either participant and see Rousey come out with the win.
